Biography

Mrs. Southards received her Masters of Science, Physician Assistant from Trevecca Nazarene University, Nashville, Tennessee in 2006. Bryn is a Nashville native and was homeschooled through high school. She was a National Merit Scholar and was also awarded with a science and medicine scholarship. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus in cellular and molecular biology from Harding University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Bryn has established clinical rotations with experience in vascular, thoracic, and general surgery. She is active in professional organizations and serves on the Allied Health Professional Committee at St. Thomas Hospital.


Bryn enjoys spending time with her husband Joshua and son Ephram. She also enjoys reading and playing the piano in her spare time. She has been licensed by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants since 2006. She joined TOA in October 2006.
