Doug received his Master of Physical Therapy degree from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN in 2002. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Maryville College in 1998, where he also played two years of baseball. He received his Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT) from The Ola Grimsby Institute in 2010. Doug has spent his entire career in outpatient orthopedics which has ranged from pediatric, adolescent, adult, and senior patients. Doug has been a clinical instructor for over 18 years and has been an adjunct faculty member at Volunteer State Community College in the Physical Therapy Assistant program since 2019.
