Mr. Meriwether received his Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies and graduated from Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Winston Salem, North Carolina in May 2008. He was awarded the Academic Distinction in the Clinical Year. He completed educational clinical rotations in General Orthopaedics with an emphasis on Surgery, Interventional Radiology, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Inpatient Medicine (Leukemia), Outpatient Medicine (Cardiology), Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatric Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Psychiatry. He is a Certified Physician Assistant with certification by the NCCPA. Mr. Meriwether obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in August 2005. He is a graduate of David Lipscomb High School, where he was a member of the academic honor’s society.
Mr. Meriwether joined Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance in July of 2008. His focus has been in Spinal Care, both operative and non-operative, and in Sports Medicine. Mr. Meriwether sees all types of orthopaedic patients with a focus in Sports Medicine.
Outside of TOA, Mr. Meriwether enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children.
