Biography

Joshua McWaters completed his undergraduate education at Cumberland University in 2011, earning a Bachelor of Science in nursing. He completed his graduate education at Middle Tennessee State University in 2015 and obtained his Master of Science in Nursing. He is a board certified nurse practitioner.

Previously Joshua worked as a registered nurse in joint replacement, physical rehab, and ICU. As a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) he has three years of experience in urgent care and three years of experience working under physiatrists, helping provide interventional pain relief.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, exercising, being outdoors and watching sports. He helps coach t-ball and soccer for his son’s local teams. His enjoyment of fitness and nutrition coupled with a passion for medicine, has led him toward a fulfilling career in orthopedics.
