Kayla Mathis, PT, DPT

Biography

Kayla graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Tennessee- Chattanooga in 2023. Before attending graduate school, she worked as a therapy technician at TOA where she gained valuable experience and knowledge in orthopedics.

Kayla went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from South College- Knoxville in 2026. 

She has a particular interest in working with patients recovering from post-operative conditions and orthopedic injuries across all age groups. She values taking the time to build meaningful relationships with her patients and support them in their rehabilitationjourney. 

Kayla was born and raised in Murfreesboro, TN, and currently resides here with her husband and dog, Bru. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, and watching sports.
