Kristine hails from Missouri. She attended the University of Missouri, Kansas City six-year BS/MD program for two years, before transferring to the Medical College of Georgia's Physician Assistant Program. While attending UMKC, she was also a NCAA-Division 1 student athlete and varsity letterman in Volleyball. She graduated from the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, GA, in 1994. She is a nationally board-certified Physician Assistant with the NCCPA.
Kristine’s 30+ year career has predominantly been in orthopedics, interventional spine and sports medicine. She has also worked as teaching faculty at her Alma Mater, Medical College of Georgia's PA program. Kristine previously worked with Dr. Richard Williams in his private practice and as medical/sports medicine coverage for Tennessee Tech University for five years. She has also worked at the highly regarded Andrews Institute for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Pensacola, Florida. Kristine joined TOA in 2021 to rejoin Dr. Richard Williams in the Cookeville office.
Outside of TOA, Kristine enjoys travel, photography, golf, sports psychology and live music. She is the proud owner of a Pekingese pup, "Hairy S. Truman." She serves as orthopedic coverage and camp photography staff for CAMP CARE, a pediatric oncology camp in Charlotte, NC. Kristine has also traveled to Tanzania EA, Honduras and Venezuela for medical missions.
