Ramsey graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed her sports physical therapy residency at the University of Florida where she became a Board-Certified Sport Specialist.
Ramsey has worked extensively with collegiate and recreational athletes working with the University of Florida and Virginia Commonwealth University Athletics’ programs. She serves as membership chair for the running special interest group within the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy. Based on her career background and personal love of staying active, she enjoys treating post-operative and conservative management of sports-related injuries with the goal of getting patients back to activities they love.
Ramsey combines her knowledge of strength and conditioning, physical rehabilitation, and sports performance to best serve her patients. Additionally, she is dry needling certified which she uses as an adjunct manual technique. She provides care at both TOA’s One City and Nashville Hip Institute location.
