Biography

Tucker was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. He graduated from Lipscomb University with an undergraduate degree in biology, along with minors in chemistry and psychology. While working as a surgical assistant in oral and maxillofacial surgery, he earned his first master’s degree in biomolecular science before returning to pursue physician assistant studies. He completed his second master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Lipscomb University in 2025, where he also served as vice president of his class.

He joined TOA Columbia after completing a six-week clinical rotation with Dr. Pharr during PA school, an experience that solidified his passion for the practice. He holds ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.

From a young age, Tucker developed a strong passion for working with people, healthcare, and medical mission work, which ultimately led him to pursue a career as a physician assistant. Growing up, he participated in a wide range of sports—including football, baseball, and basketball—which sparked his interest in orthopedics.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, working out, and being on the lake or at the beach. He is an avid college football fan and values time with family and friends. He is actively involved in his church community and also volunteers as an assistant coach for the Lipscomb Academy high school and middle school trap shooting teams on weekends.
