Reuben A. Macias, MD

Biography

Dr. Reuben A. Macias is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who treats a wide range of orthopedic conditions, with a focus on adult hip and knee reconstruction. His practice encompasses primary and revision total hip and knee arthroplasty, including minimally invasive and muscle-sparing techniques.

Dr. Macias completed his Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, where he focused on complex primary and revision joint replacement. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at William Beaumont Army Medical Center/Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso. He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Dr. Macias has called the Clarksville area home since 2022, when he was stationed at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital at Fort Campbell through 2025. A U.S. Army veteran, he previously remained on staff for a year at William Beaumont/TTUHSC in El Paso following residency, where he deployed to the Middle East. He joined TOA at the Clarksville office in 2026, where he is committed to providing individualized, evidence-based care that helps patients reduce pain, restore mobility, and return to the activities they enjoy.

In his free time, Dr. Macias enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children, participating in sports, exploring the outdoors, and traveling.
