Dr. Petty was the "second opinion" I got after my first opinion doctor was quick to recommend two separate surgeries for my right shoulder. After careful examination and review of my MRI Dr. Petty recommended a non-surgical treatment that has worked remarkably well so far (4 weeks). Both doctors had the same diagnosis (frozen shoulder) but the first doctor also said I needed surgery for a labrum tear, which Dr. Petty didn't see in the MRI. It never hurts to get a second opinion, however after this experience, I will go to Dr. Petty for all my ortho needs FIRST. Very thankful and grateful for Dr. Petty's honesty and expert knowledge that hopefully helped me avoid two unnecessary surgeries and treat and heal the injury correctly.
