Back in August of 2020, I had an indoor rock-climbing accident that involved a serious fracture to a major ankle joint. I was told that I had about a 30 percent chance of blood loss to that joint because of the traumatic injury. Thankfully that was not the case, and God blessed me with an incredible surgeon, Dr. Yu. He walked me (pun intended) through the process very smoothly (5 screws were installed), and post-op recovery went well. After 5 months of crutches and physical therapy, I was walking again without any problems! As of today, 10/15/2025, I am able to walk and jog with no pain at all. Rarely will I still feel some soreness. Highly recommend Dr. Yu and the team over at TOA.
I hit the trifecta with Dr. Lowe, a gifted surgeon in his prime. His knife skills are out of this world. He was the 9th orthopedic surgeon I consulted and the first one who said he could fix my back. He fixed my back, he fixed my husband's paratrooper back and then he fixed my "inoperable" neck!
I was referred to him by a neurosurgeon, by the way. Neurosurgeon wouldn't touch my neck. Dr. Lowe didn't hesitate. This doctor is a Godsend.
I really love this man. He is kind, gentle, and considerate. He never pushes you to make a decision. He works with you until you are ready. He’s the best. There are not many left like him.

Dr. Glenn is an excellent physician and I highly recommend him for anyone who needs shoulder replacement surgery. He is very knowledgeable and personable. He took the time to explain everything to me before surgery, including all of my options. He provided handouts on my condition and made sure I was making the best informed decision for me. He didn't make me feel rushed and was always engaged in my care.
I'm a 51 year old female who needed a total hip replacement years ago. I went from being bone on bone for years, to my hip collapsing. My leg was inches shorter because of this. I was scared to death and lost all hope of ever walking normally again. My quality of life was nonexistent. I had my total hip replacement on August 14th, and when I was awake enough to look at my legs, I cried. My knees were side by side again. My operated leg was exactly the same length as my good leg. I'm recovering, but it's taking me time and patience. I'm so thankful I was sent to Dr. Burton. Also, when I have any questions or concerns, I speak with Autumn in the office. She is caring and compassionate and addresses any questions I may have.
Arthritis runs in my mother's side of the family. When my right hip got to be bone on bone, I was also facing Achilles tendon surgery. Four months after the tendon surgery, Dr. Kurtz performed right hip replacement. Pain was minimal and recovery was pretty quick. Three years later, my left hip was bone on bone, so Dr. Kurtz did that surgery as well. I had been getting injections in my right knee for three years and if finally got to the point that it was going to have to be replaced. Dr. Kurtz did my knee replacement surgery on July 24, 2025. I am amazed at how little pain I've had, how the incision is healing and how rapidly the rehab and recovery has been. I ditched the walker after a week and started using a cane. If you need hip or knee surgery, I highly recommend Dr. Kurtz. He's the best!
After over two years of chronic pain in my left hip, and seeing a handful of different doctors, I finally found Dr. Snowden. At my first appointment with Dr. Snowden, I knew he was the right doctor for me. I had spinal fusion surgery and my pain was GONE! I have now referred quite a few people to Dr. Snowden. He's the BEST!
I have seen Dr. Jordan for years with my knee problems. In 2016, I had meniscus surgery and all went great. Dr. Jordan has helped me get the most out of my knees until I needed replacements in 2022. Both knees have done great and I am so thankful I was under the care of Dr. Jordan and staff. They are definitely top of the line in my books and I would highly recommend!
Dr. Carpenter has done my left knee total replacement, and is now going to do the right knee. I wouldn't want any one else do it. Everything went smooth, the scarring was minimal and I have great range of motion now, with no pain at all. The physical therapists that helped me afterward told me how great of a job he did also.
