They were provided specialized surgery centers, which became the birthplace of hand surgery. Dr. Fowler, in turn, became a founding member of TOA. While he no longer practices, Dr. Fowler’s influence in the development of hand surgery is significant, and his legacy continues to positively impact our physicians and patients in Tennessee.
