Hand, Wrist & Elbow Center

As a surgeon during World War II, Dr. Ben Fowler was asked to perform hand surgery on injured soldiers. They were provided specialized surgery centers, which became the birthplace of hand surgery. Dr. Fowler in turn became a founding member of TOA. While he no longer practices, Dr. Fowler’s influence in the development of hand surgery is significant, and his legacy continues to positively impact our physicians and patients in Tennessee. Although World War II has long since passed, our responsibility to serve our valued patients still continues.
