Physiatry

Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, also known as Physiatry or PM&R, is one of our specialties at TOA. Physical medicine orthoepdic specialists care for the wide variety of musculoskeletal disorders which are not treated with surgery. They are experts in their field including epidural steroid injections and selective nerve blocks, neurodiagnostic testing such as EMGs, and also industrial medicine. TOA physiatrists are available to all patients with a musculoskeletal problem. If surgery may be needed, rest assured they will refer you to one of our orthopaedic surgeons for evaluation.
