Dr. McGhee went over my MRI in detail. I went in thinking I was going to need shoulder surgery. Luckily surgery not needed, just exercises.

I touch the Tennessee orthopedic to do all my surgeries which have been a total of three so far and I think I may have one maybe two left to go. However I do have some concerns as to why certain things were not done on this last surgery that could have been done but didn't get chosen. I do worry that I will have to undergo a four surgery because the third surgery wasn't exactly a great success. I know that Dr rubright is a great doctor TOA is a great location to go as far as your orthopedic needs the only thing that I don't like is having to drive back and forth to Nashville for the surgeries when there's a very capable hospital here in Cookeville. I want to know why the other procedure that they could have done wasn't chosen in the first place given the fact that my poor little tiny body doesn't have the strength needed to hold up under stress. If there was another option which there was to install a different type of apparatus that would take less stress off of my rotator cuff I would like to know why that one was not chosen?f I think what's going on is going on they will end up having to do yet a for surgery on the same shoulder. Some people don't realize how hard it is when you're 64 to bounce back from all of these repeated surgeries Plus the chances of something going wrong under surgery continually increases as yourput under anesthesia

She did an awesome job of explaining to me about why my symptoms were happening to me and adjusted the medication to help me properly.

Lauren Osborne is such a good doctor. She has taken such great care of me, and she really cares about what happens to me. You can tell that she cares about her patients, she is genuine and real. Dr Rubright listened carefully as I explained the problem with my hand. He did a full examination and diagnosed the problem. He suggested an injection which seems to be working. This was the first visit to his office and I’d highly recommend him. His PA, Jane Ross was also very kind and gave an almost painless injection.

Dr William Carpenter is wonderful!! He has a great bedside manner and answered all my questions about upcoming knee surgery. He made me feel seen and validated. I feel very confident in his ability to help me have a positive outcome with my knee replacement surgery.

From the front desk, to the nurse, and to the x-ray guy, they worked very well together. I felt like Dr. Carpenter heard my concerns, and we found a great solution to solve my hip problem.

Staff was very friendly and helpful . Dr Carpenter was congenial but very professional and knowledgeable. He started with sharing with my husband and I , a copy of the recent X-rays that confirmed that my knee was worn out. I shared with him the pain and discomfort that I’ve been having for several months. I asked him, if I chose him for surgeon, what would be the protocol and the recovery time. The discussion answered to my questions.. I am having surgery in September with Dr. Carpenter and I very confident that it will be a successful operation with positive outcomes.

Dr. Carpenter has excellent patient manners and his staff is very caring. He was professional and empathetic. He not only listened to what I had to say about my injury, but also heard me. He quickly came up with the next step in his plan that made sense and I agreed with. I would recommend him to anyone who needs an Orthopedic Specialist.

I would Highly recommend TOA and Dr. James Rubright to anyone. I had a 90% tear in my rotor cuff in my right shoulder. Dr. Rubright repaired it instead of replacing it. That was 5 weeks ago and I am out of the sling and in PT. I am very amazed at how good it is doing so far. I know two other people that has went elsewhere with another doctor one with a 70% tear and the other with 60% tear. They both were told that Total shoulder replacement was the only thing thet could be done. I haven't talked to the one with the 60% tear. But the one with the 70% tear says he wishes he had never had it done and his surgery was over a year ago. So if anyone has been told they need shoulder replacement. Do yourself a big favor and go see Dr. James Rubright at TOA in Cookeville Tn. For a 2nd opinion. Sincerely Charlie Garrett.

TOA was very efficient on my visit. I got there, went back, had x-rays, seen by the doctor, and our the door in about 30-45 minutes. Kris Germann was so nice, listened to me, asked great questions to figure out my issue, did her physical tests, and very professional. She took great care of me! Highly recommended!
