Ken Burns was great. After getting through all the paper work, Ken treated me promptly and explained everything thoroughly. I was very pleased with the treatment and professionalism. My only complaint is the paperwork. I am a long time patient of TOA and was seen there a number of times last year. Virtually all the information I had to fill out yesterday is already in TOA’s records. It’s ridiculous and a waste of my time to have to provide it all again. TOA needs to streamline it’s check in requirements for existing patients.

Caring compassionate medical treatment

I was taken in for x-rays right away. The Doctor met with me and explained my situation and my options. I said I would opt for a different anti inflammatory and see how my hip reacts. After just a couple of days, my hip has not bothered me as much as it has after a similar workout. I was very impressed with my first visit to Dr. Burns.

I was happy to be seen fairly soon and believe the medications prescribed are starting to help. Thank you to all the great people who helped.

I went on a Saturday morning to the Urgent Care TOA. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who got me checked in and gave me paperwork to complete. After I finished the paperwork, I was called right back. Everyone from the receptionist, Xray technician to the PA was very friendly. The PA after exam and reading xrays determined my problem and we discussed treatment. I was there maybe 45 minutes total.

Had a good consultation overall but one of the specific tests the doctor did to my knee caused pain the day after when walking. I came to TOA for a second opinion on an inner knee issue and I guess he proved my point that I actually do have an issue but it still felt like they didn't believe me since I’m younger. Glad to have an MRI scheduled with TOA over Vanderbilt trying to give me steroids as the solution.
