I had a very good experience with Jessica during my recent appointment\. She was professional, thorough, and took the time to address my concerns\. On my intake paperwork, I circled my entire back because I was hoping to have both my neck and back evaluated\. I brought previous X\-rays of my neck with me, and I initially got the impression that only one area would be addressed during my visit\. I really appreciated that Jessica decided to order additional X\-rays of my lower back before I left\. This made me feel heard and reassured that my concerns were being taken seriously\. She also emailed me physical therapy exercises to do at home, which I appreciated\. My main frustrations were the wait time and some confusion surrounding my appointment\. I had originally scheduled to see Dr\. Shepard but was switched to see his PA, Jessica\. I understand that schedules can change and delays happen, but I was there for nearly three hours, and better communication about the wait and the change in provider would have made the experience less frustrating\. Overall, I was pleased with the care Jessica provided\. She listened to my concerns, took additional steps to evaluate my back, and provided me with exercises to help manage my pain at home\. I appreciate the care she took to make sure I felt heard and evaluated\.

He was knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate, but what stood out most was how naturally he connected with our child and helped them feel safe and comfortable. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answer all of our questions, and make sure our child felt seen and heard the entire visit. Dr. Joyner is the first surgeon I’ve been to that actually takes time to listen to his patients and offers real solutions to problems. I had a 22 year long term scaphoid non-union in the wrist and dealt with unbearable pain basically every day. Every doctor I went to told me that there was basically no way to fix it. I thought there was no solution until Dr. Joyner mentioned a 4 Corner wrist fusion. Now I am 10.5 weeks post op, my wrist fusion has completely healed, and my wrist feels better than ever and continues to get better each day. I cannot recommend Dr. Joyner enough. He’s the best!

Kristina doesn’t rush through appointments! She asks pertinent questions and listens to answers to those question as well as prompting input on anything I fell is pertinent to the reason for the appointment. Her agenda is my agenda.

Dr. Matthew Barrett is a very thorough doctor. He goes over your X-rays and MRI results and explains the best options for your condition. He has certain requirements that you have to do before surgery to assure that you do not get an infection. You also attend a class to prepare you for your surgery.

Dr Joyner did my left shoulder joint 5 or 6 years ago, he is very good, and has a great demeanor with his patients.

Dr Brown is very knowledgeable and professional. I just wish she would slow down a bit. She talked so fast I couldn’t keep up. I had a hard time retaining what she said. However, she did give me pictures of my hand X-rays and marked parts of concern. Just needs to slow down for us old people.

Dr Shibyama has done a total of 6 surgeries between my back and neck. He is amazing. I always feel so much better after recovery. He’s very knowledgeable and explains everything perfectly. Dr. Summers was very thorough and explained everything to me before proceeding with a treatment plan. Grateful for a second opinion and a team that responds quickly to calls and questions! PT also made a personalized brace for me and they were just as lovely!

I met Miranda PA, she was friendly professional reviewed the X-rays with clearly explained her thoughts and recommendations, listened to my descriptions of symptoms and together we came up with a plan that will work for me.

Ms Abolins was very friendly, but at the same time professional. She gave me her thoughts on what my issue is, and made what seemed like appropriate steps moving forward to further identify exactly what the issue is.
