Biography

Kristina Abolins is an ANCC board certified family nurse practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Indiana University and continued on to work as a registered nurse in both the inpatient and outpatient setting at James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children and Vanderbilt University Medical Center for 10 years.

In 2014, she attended Belmont University and earned her Master of Science degree in nursing as a family nurse practitioner. Post-graduation, her experience included two years in pain management before pursuing her career in orthopedics. Kristina joins our team with prior experience in general orthopedics and upper extremity disorders and injuries. Kristina was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan and then moved to New Jersey during high school where her parents still reside.

Kristina is in a long-term relationship and has two very spoiled pugs, Leia and Carl. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the culinary opportunities of Nashville, traveling the world, and attending concerts of all music genres.
