Biography
Julie Barr graduated from Transylvania University, in Lexington, KY, in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. In 2018, she graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. During her undergraduate studies, she worked as a physical therapy technician, and after her undergraduate graduation she worked as an EMT. She had a desire to work in orthopedics and pursued this course upon obtaining her license as a Physician Assistant.
Prior to her a role at TOA Murfreesboro, she worked in the orthopedic urgent care setting for two years. She will continue working with patients in need of urgent care and has a passion for people, health and orthopedics.
In her spare time, Julie enjoys traveling, playing volleyball, water sports and living an active lifestyle.
