Biography

Kathy Grove is a board-certified family nurse practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB). She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at Aquinas College where she was conferred membership to the Delta Epsilon Sigma National Scholastic Honor Society. During school, she continued to work as a nurse in the operating room at Summit Surgery Center. While working for the Tri-Star Ambulatory Surgery Division for ten years, she managed a multi-specialty operating room for the last five years of her service.

In 2015, she attended Tennessee State University and earned her Master of Science degree in nursing as a family nurse practitioner. Upon completing her degree, she was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. During this time, she began working for Dr. Christopher M. Cook, orthopedic surgeon, where she worked in clinic and the operating room. Kathy continues to assist Dr. Cook in total joint replacements and outpatient surgeries.

Kathy is a Nashville native, graduate of Nashville Christian High School and lives with her husband and two children in Old Hickory. In her free time, Kathy spends time with family and friends in addition to exploring new travel destinations. She enjoys being outdoors, fishing, running, and weight training.
