Biography
Todd Warren NP, ATC is a licensed and certified Nurse Practitioner and Athletic Trainer with the state of Tennessee. He has accumulated 34 years of experience as an Athletic Trainer and 26 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
Todd began his training at the University of Illinois where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Athletic Training. He continued his education at the University of Arizona working as a graduate assistant and was able to obtain a Master of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training. He continued to expand his knowledge base by attending the Vanderbilt School of Nursing where a Master of Science in Nursing was attained.
Todd has worked in the sports medicine arena in the Big Ten, Pac Ten and SEC conferences serving a variety of sports. He has served in various roles as a Nurse Practitioner to include clinician, adjunct professor, sports medicine research coordinator, first assistant in orthopedic surgeries and orthopedic consultant to school-aged athletes. "Working with young people" is a passion of Todd's whether treating sports injuries or passing along knowledge through precepting high school to post-graduate level students.
Sports medicine related conditions are a favorite although he has extensive experience in treating most orthopedic injuries. Todd enjoys time spent with his family and church. He is an avid outdoorsman participating in multiple activities and sports. In addition, he provides care to rural communities while serving on regular mission trips to Central America.
