Dr. Cochran is a very good orthopedic doctor and surgeon. He takes time with you ensuring all questions are answered. He listens and truly wants you to be pain free. I can attest to this personally upon discovering I am nearly immune to numbing agents, just prior to my surgical procedure. He continually checked on my pain levels throughout the operation, stressing He wants to be sure I was comfortable and never took offense to telling him when I began having feeling as the agent wore off. He believed me even though I am a rare case for the local anesthetic. He stopped, reissued the numbing agent as needed and proceeded further only when he was assured I was comfortable. He didn't rush through the consultation or the procedure even though the procedure took less time than he anticipated, even with the extra time he took to ensure my pain level was manageable. His bedside manner is exquisite as well and has a sense of humor if you wish to engage him that way. He made me feel like I was important and got the best care possible. Even during follow ups post surgery. AMAZING human being and physician.

The staff are so sweet and easy to work with. Dr. Cochran was great. He took the time to listen to my concerns and was detailed in his explanation. He even drew pictures to help me visualize what he was saying.

Dr. Cochran is an excellent addition to the TOA Columbia, TN team of doctors and the staff!!! On my first visit with Dr. Cochran I felt very comfortable in talking to him about the cyst and much arthritis I had on my right wrist. He was very thorough in going over my x-rays and explaining in depth all that needed to be taken care of with having surgery, going over the end result that I would have for my right hand. He has a great bedside manner which was shown even in my post-op appointment. And made sure that if I needed anything to call asap.
