Biography
Lindsey Potter is both an Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner and Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at TOA. She is a California native and graduate of Duke University where she completed her Orthopedic Residency. She also holds a degree in Kinesiology from California State University, Fullerton and a Nursing degree from Azusa Pacific University.
Lindsey comes to TOA from Southern California where she worked in both Emergency Medicine, Sports Medicine, and Urgent Care. Being a former athlete and obtaining multiple surgeries herself, she has a passion for Sports Medicine and getting athletes back in the game and the general population back to doing what they love.
She works on the medical team for the World Surf League since 2019 and goes back home to Cali to work the US Open of Surfing each year. Her goal is to spend time surfing around the world.
Lindsey loves being outdoors, at the beach, and spending time with her family & friends, husband, son, and little pup Koa Bear. Although there is not a beach in Tennessee, Lindsey enjoys the lake life. She has grown up surfing, paddle boarding, wakeboarding, and wake surfing. You are bound to find her next to water or on a soccer field kicking the ball around if she is not at work.
