Dr Hunter and the staff at TOA do a great job . I've had 3 different surgeries performed by Dr. Hunter and he is very meticulous and has always treated my injuries and me with great care and respect.

Dr. Hunter did carpal tunnel surgery on my hand on February 27, 2026. I had NO pain after the surgery, only soreness! I had surgery on my other hand in 2006 and was supposed to have had this one done shortly afterwards.Work and life kept me putting off surgery all those years. I finally had to make a decision to finally have it done because the pain had become so strong that I couldn't bear it anymore. I also lost the feeling in three of my fingers due to waiting for so long. I can wiggle them now and I couldn't move them before the surgery. Dr. Hunter was the exception to the rule, he is a very caring and capable doctor and I will continue recommending him to everyone that I can! I thank God everyday for letting me find Dr. Hunter.

The wait to see the doctor was unbelievable long and seemed like they had over booked a lot of patients BUT once I did get to see Dr Hunter he was a very nice and very attentive to all my concerns about my injuries. I would rate Dr Hunter 10/10 as a doctor!!!

Very pleased to get appointment so quickly as a new patient. I have been dealing with forearm pain for 2 summers. First diagnosis was tennis elbow by an orthopedic doctor in Alabama. Dr. Hunter had completely different diagnosis of radial tunnel syndrome, gave me an injection in my arm, and fitted me in a brace. In tears yesterday, but today being the day after seeing Dr. Hunter, I am in much less pain already. Thanks, Dr. Hunter! He cares and listens to what you have to say!

The staff at TOA, from the front desk to all of the personal in x-ray and fitting splints and those who work with Dr Hunter, are exceptional. Not only do they greet everyone with courtesy and a smile, they carry out their tasks quickly and with professionalism. Dr Hunter always explains the medical issues and patiently answers questions….He has taken care of 2 surgical problems for me, and I trust and respect him greatly!

Dr. hunter was wonderful!!! Checking was great!! However after dbl checking that my test had been sent to TOA, it was a not rec,d even though the test were sent! A bit of a process hassle!

I had dreaded the visit because I knew he would give me a steroid injection for my trigger finger I’ve had those injections before and they are very painful Dr Hunter assured me he had given many of these injections and he is very gentle He was very very gentle I did not feel the injection I did feel the first injection which was the numbing one after that I did not feel anything in that part of my hand I could not believe he had completed the process it was so easy I almost canceled my appointment even as bad as my finger hurt but I dreaded the injection so bad I hope this takes care of my trigger finger I highly recommend Dr Hunter also he had a very pleasant bedside manner and all the staff were great as well

Dr. Hunter was the best. He explained everything to me. Even told me what he would do in my case.

I felt well informed however I find the lack of information about the cost of treatment very concerning and opens the door to creative accounting. The staff at the hospital were very kind and helpful.

I had broken my left wrist and my ulna bone when I fell at my house on Jan.30. Dr. Hunter did surgery on Feb. 3. and I wore a soft cast for about 2 weeks and then I went to a brace. Saw Dr. Hunter yesterday and he said I am doing great. Now taking therapy and will see him again in a month. He is a wonderful doctor, so nice and explains everything very well.

Awesome Dr. He discussed what was going on, even showing me my x-rays and was open to hearing my preferences and discussing pros and cons of the options we discussed. Then he discussed exactly what he would be doing in my surgery on my thumb. I’m very comfortable with him as my surgical Dr for this procedure.

Dr. Hunter has a good reputation and I believe he is a good surgeon.My right thumb surgery has been problematic (as I am right hand dominate), for both of us. After four months of PT my hand is still weak and painful. I’m still unable to make a fist. Slow, gradual recovery. I just found out some of my problem is caused by a pinched nerve in my elbow. I will have him do the surgery needed to relieve it. I trust him to do an excellent job on it too.
