Biography
Christina Jensen is an Iowa native who graduated from Iowa State University in Ames, IA with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She holds a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. She is certified by the National Certification Committee of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery (PAOS).
Christina comes to TOA from Minneapolis, MN where she worked with an orthopedic group for two years. She joined TOA in 2021 and has experience in an urgent care setting treating a variety of acute injuries. She is now primarily focused on non-operative osteoarthritis treatment and postoperative care for total joint replacements alongside Dr. William Carpenter. She enjoys improving patients’ functional limitations and getting them back to the activities they love.
Outside of work, Christina enjoys spending time with her husband and two pit bull mixes Lucy and Kobayashi. Her free time is spent climbing, cycling, crocheting, and vintage shopping. She also enjoys watching Nashville Soccer Club matches and Nashville Roller derby bouts.
