Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance Welcomes New Physicians
Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance, is pleased to announce the addition of Joseph D. Chenger, MD, and Jeffrey P. Lawrence, MD. Dr. Chenger is a board certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in joint replacement, shoulder and general orthopaedics. Dr. Lawrence is a board certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon, with a subspecialty certification in sports medicine, specializing in joint replacement and sports medicine.
Dr. Lawrence received an undergraduate degree from Abilene Christian University and completed his medical degree at the University of Tennessee. After receiving his medical degree, he completed a general surgery internship and a five-year orthopaedic surgery residency, including one-year as Chief Orthopaedic Resident at the University of Tennessee.
Dr. Chenger received his B.S. degree from the University of Lethbridge, in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. His medical degree was earned at the University of Calgary, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Dr. Chenger’s internship was served at Foothills Hospital in Calgary, followed by residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Calgary, where he was Chief Resident.
Drs. Chenger and Lawrence collectively bring decades of experience and a wealth of knowledge to TOA. Dr. Chenger is accepting patients at TOA’s Centennial location and Dr. Lawrence is now accepting patients at TOA’s Centennial and Spring Hill locations.
