TOA Celebrates Dr. Cason Shirley’s 2,000th Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Surgery

Cason Shirley, board-certified orthopedic surgeon, has successfully completed his 2,000th Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Surgery. This significant achievement highlight’s Dr. Shirley’s dedication to advancing orthopedic care and his commitment to patient-centered outcomes.
Dr. Shirley specializes in total hip and knee replacements utilizing the Mako SmartRobotics™ system by Stryker. This innovative technology combines 3D CT-based planning with AccuStop™ haptic technology, allowing for enhanced precision in implant positioning and bone preservation.
