TOA Surgeon Prepares for Return to Guatemala for Mission Work

TOA hand surgeon, Dr. Keith Douglas and three other orthopaedic surgeons recently traveled to Antigua, Guatemala to evaluate patients for possible surgery. This is Dr. Douglas's third mission trip with Faith in Practice, a Christian organization focused on improving the lives of the underprivileged in Guatemala. They will return to Guatemala in May with a team of 40 people including doctors, nurses, translators and many others. During that trip they will perform surgeries on 60-70 patients who usually have limited or no access to health care.
