Biography

Laura Stiles completed her undergraduate education at Lipscomb University in Nashville, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree. She then worked as a registered nurse at Vanderbilt Medical Center for 3 years in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She earned her Master’s of Science in Nursing degree from Belmont University and became an ANCC board-certified family nurse practitioner in 2013.

Laura is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Some of her most rewarding experiences have been on medical mission trips to Guatemala, where she has served both as a nurse and a nurse practitioner.

From 2015- 2022, Laura worked for Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital West as an orthopaedic nurse practitioner, primarily assisting TOA surgeons at the Harding Pike location. She was an integral part of the Joint Replacement Institute as well as the JCAHO-accredited Hip Fracture Program. She now looks forward to caring for TOA patients in the sub-specialty of hand and upper extremity surgery.

Laura is a Nashville native and currently lives in Gallatin with her husband and 2 cats. She and her husband are active members of Joy Church International in Mt. Juliet. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, traveling, enjoying the outdoors, and playing the violin.
